I get why she's saying this, to hurt Democrats, but why the fuck are nominal Democrats saying that shit?

Regarding all those polls - remember when HRC was destined to be prez, per the polls?

Remember all the polls assuring us of a "red wave" in the mid-terms? Followed by all the stories about how screwed up those polls were and why did we ever trust them?

This shithole allowed fraudster trump to access the reins of the most powerful country on planet earth, I will never again, trust...

Biden got a really good bounce from the SotU, enough that if they keep repeating that message and we don't have a recession (and it's now looking like we might not) Biden will be a really good bet for re-election.

But that doesn't get clicks.

But was it really the polls saying that? Or the pundits claiming it?

Joe Biden is fine with me.

Either way, polls are such a waste of time. But you're right-- the pundits live by them, then die by them, then claim the polls are useless. Lather, rinse, repeat.

So who, then? No one else can claim Biden's achievements, first of which is his electoral performance showing TFG to the door.

DeSantis is counting on PAB being in jail or otherwise rendered unable to run in 2024. With him out of contention, DeSantis wouldn't be a competitor but PAB's "righteous avenger." Which is why the "lock him up NOW!" crowd should be careful what they wish for.

The only upside to Desantis winning in a close contest is Trump would almost certainly third party and tank both.

Not going to pretend handsome Joe has a completely perfect record or I didn’t wish he was 30 years younger. It’s just he’s gotten the politics of actually doing his job down better than most of his past 50 years contemporaries.

For the first time of my adult life, a Democratic president is refusing to adopt the reganomics framework when it comes to taxes and government spending. The deficit commissions don’t know what to do with themselves that democrats aren’t going to play along with Republicans hostage taking this time

And yet, by remaining out of public eye, refusing to make his presidency a cult of personality, and his general inherent affability, he’s never coming across as the radical in the room.

He probably will always be around the 40% approval rating, and I for one would feel pretty confident if he was at the top of the ticket against trump or DeSatan

Michele Goldberg quoted a Republican strategist? As long as Biden can do the job, let him. He’s been really successful as president. Some lefties have tried to minimize his successes by claiming it’s a result of Republican missteps and not so much that voters simply wanted to support candidates with a D after their names. Biden/Harris has been a better thing for this country than Trump/Pence ever was.

Fuck Goldberg and all the mealy-mouthed “But his age…!”, assholes on our side of the aisle. This is in danger of becoming the “buttery males” of the upcoming election cycle.
