I keep hoping that the reality sandwiches hitting MAGA in the face result in their switching off Faux News and just maybe reading or watching some other news sources; if I had no education and my only input was from liars who lie for money, I'd have a hard time discerning fact from fiction, as well. That so many chose him from positions of bigotry, hatred, and the rest of the -isms tends to limit my empathy, though.

Jack Smith won the day during his hearing. He sat and answered/explained while the committee could be heard flipping pages and asking questions in what sounded like a nervous way.
I like how the committee is talking about feelings and how lots of people talk and then Jack leans forward and says 'this is the law he broke. This is what makes his actions unlawful as opposed to all those other things you just mentioned.'
Notice how Gomer Comer and Gym Jordan dropped the transcript of his testimony on New Year's Eve? Without so much as a press release announcing it, much less revealing any juicy parts? Gee, it's almost like Smith calmly kicked their asses with the facts and the law, to the point where they're embarrassed by the whole thing, isn't it?
(Spoiler: I've sampled a little of that 255-page transcript, and that's exactly what he does.)
The testimony will likely be buried for now until or unless they can spin it. Jordyn might be aware that Jack could drop a dime on Jordan and embarrass Comer.
I always think this song just fits on New Years Day. I didn't understand what the song was about when it came out, but something about it just fit since that day was usually quiet and cold in my experience. It was also somewhat haunting.
TFG's supporters are such dupes that if he had just done one small, concrete thing for them besides just giving them permission to hate, he'd have them forever. But he couldn't even do that. We're lucky this guy is so thoroughly depraved and evil. Otherwise, his wavering supporters would never have learned the lessons they're learning now.
