lol YES! Imagine if we actually did get to decide what our tax dollars paid for, and what they didn't. Things would probably actually be worse than they will under Trump.
Interesting discussion. I think that the law defines the minimum acceptable behavior for our society, something we all (or at least most of us) can agree is bad and should not be allowed. That leaves plenty of room for bad, but legal, behavior. Lying is one of those things. If it rises to a certain level it's illegal. But most people still think lying for personal gain or gratification is bad, maybe not "throw them in jail" bad, but still bad. That means it's up to us to condemn it in an effort to stop it from happening. I will not normalize or accept what I consider bad behavior. The trolls on 4chan are malefactors.
But apparently, they didn't. That's what's so perverse about it. They're trying to insinuate that actual news is fake news, by insisting that they faked it. It's almost clever.
I upvoted you because I sense that I'm going to take it all back in the near future. My epiphany was going to reddit and seeing a user talk about r/conspiracy, and expressing disappointment with the fact that they fail to accept things when an actual conspiracy breaks out.
Unemployably Stupid Americans -- USA! USA!

Ask Trump, Crazy Eyes and Ross Perot respectively
Books have a tendency to say the same thing they said the day before. Unacceptable.
No, they made it up. You have no idea how far they'd go for laughs.

Oh, I do.
Lost me at 4chan. WTF?
Gaslighters. They are full of shit and live in an imaginary bubble. They are allergic to facts and prefer idol worshiping over critical thinking.
Trump supporters are the biggest pansies on the planet.
I couldn't have said this better myself. I know because I tried.
Shitflickers.
Side eye or stink eye? Usually more a matter of degree, though, so there's that...
