Honestly I haven’t respected 60 minutes since Lara Logan and I only very recently had even watched a few chosen segments. But now I’m done. They do realize that most of their viewers are intelligent, enlightened people wanting to see something other than the typical tabloid news right?They’re not going to attract MAGA viewers with this crap. They are just going to slowly go down the drain while losing what’s left of their dignity until they are left give hummers to Ron DeSantis just to get one more rating point.
Separating News divisions from entertainment is what we once had, and now we have Fox News and CBS is trying to compete with those lies for entertainment dollars.

I haven't watched 60 minutes in years and that goes to the heart of the problem which is that in this digital media day and age the only way to make money in the news market is by telling bigoted white conservatives what they want to hear. CNN is taking its heel turn, 60 Min now heads off in the same direction. Not sure how MSNBC scrapes by. Unless progressive become a more profitable demographic I'd expect more of the same.
Morning Joe and Mika are defending the interview and doing it it a sneaky way. No one is upset 60 Minutes interviewed Greene. What’s upsetting is Stahl didn’t pushback at all. Her response to the pedophile accusation was to say “Wow..ok..” As if Greene said something wacky as opposed to insane. A BBC interviewer would have torched Greene for such an inflammatory lie. Mika says it was “a great interview and Stahl did a great job”….wow, ok..
