"Mighty Whitey Saves The Day'...Isn't that why he hired him?

In the late 60s your Santyclz had a black, gay bridge partner with whom I travelled throughout the eastern USA to play in various tournaments. BGP made all the travel arrangements as I had no idea of which cities required us to stay in separate hotels. In fact I was astonished to learn there still were cities this was a safety requirement! I suggested we both stay in hotels that would allow him, but he said I wouldn't be safe there. I wasn't shocked to learn this about Savana, GA, but was about Washington, DC! (He moved to Canada about 1969 and I lost track of him.)

the outward appearance of order and discipline, however, was just that. internally, the whole thing was as disorganized and messy as the Yam's maladministration.

except for the parts, as you pointed out, that actually did work well.

Oh, no. It was arguably worse. The Führer pushed for interservice rivalry and competition the likes of which would have even impressed the Japanese (whose intersevice rivalry was so strong that both the navy AND THE ARMY had aircraft carriers.)

I confess that I never watched the film and am only going on stuff I've heard. If I was wrong on anything, I apologize.

that must be where we got the idea of having a completely separate military service that flies airplanes (USAF) and still having the Navy, the Marines and the Army also flying planes/helicopters.

The major brain shaft is that anyone ever believed that trump was ever a businessman, let alone a successful one..

Of course there is still CPAC though.

OT: The DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Mueller is properly authorized and Roger Stone's flunky Andrew Miller is in civil contempt for failing to comply with GJ subpoenas. Here's the court opinion link:

Man, CPAC has really gone down hill. It used to be all about them bragging how they were going to put all of those people in their place. Now it’s reduced to crying about Zuckerberg kicking them out of his sandbox and Laura Loomer running through the lobby demanding people pay attention to her.
