I've been thinking about Perry's N-wordhead camp and I was a-wondering myself. If it had been named "Dickhead", a traditional name after some well-loved man named Richard of long ago, or "Cockhead", after some beloved family rooster, it wouldn't have mattered the depth of tradition to the name. It would have been erased from public view fifty years ago or more.

Instead they let the N-word stay there in public view and common use up to the 2000s. Why? The most charitable explanation I can think of is that they weren't themselves offended by it, so they couldn't see how anyone else would be.

"Open Mic Nite with Cliven Bundy" is CNN's new gig. Lucky for them, seeing as how their breathless no-news reports about the missing airliner have stopped pulling in the viewers.

"are they better off being slaves in that sense or better off being slaves to the United States government in the sense of the subsidy?"

Oh, good. Now we can take away subsidies from corporations, and make them our slaves, for their own good.

My grandmother would often tell me to get off the damn porch and get back to picking cotton. Wise old lady, she was.

"Without nothing to do" = "with something to do," but then we can't expect an understanding of grammar from Cloven, since he also appears not to understand race relations, grazing rights, the existence of government, how time works, how long forever is, the history of slavery, or what the flag stands for (hint: it is the government you don't believe exists, asshole).
