Two teenage girls were assassinated by a CK follower in a horrifically violent way. If he is not tried as an adult , his parents need to be tried as accessories.

It might have been nice to see Charlie Kirk use his good fortune with love, having found a wife and started a family, to urge incels and angry teenage gamers to embrace kindness. These angry young men embrace people like Andrew Tate because Tate tells them what they want to hear - that their social struggles and loneliness isn’t their fault, and more importantly that it IS the fault of one specific group of people - women. Kirk was an awkward misfit too, but he nonetheless found love. He could have made that fact a feature of his messaging. A transformative experience that young men could have used as encouragement and inspiration. He could have given them hope, and urged them to love and respect people.

None of these rage-stoking nihilists like Tate are going to give any lasting relief or comfort to angry young men. If loneliness is the real wound, assigning blame doesn’t promote any healing, nor does it give lonely young men any tools to find companionship. There is only one path - learn to respect people and treat them well. Not everyone will like you, nor are they obligated to. But some of them may like you, and more people will like you than if you are an angry, miserable person who commiserates with other angry people.

Gun laws do work. If this asswipe was eighteen, he wouldn't have fucked up the car to take out those girls. He would have walked into a gun store and bought an AR-15 on credit.

Ta, Robyn. Those two girls had barely begun living before that entitled whiney loser took everything away from them. No matter how much influence his family has in their NJ town, I hope justice finds him. Isabella and Maria's memory should always be a blessing.

The sickness isn’t just in one boy. It’s in the culture that taught him rejection is humiliation and women are trophies owed to him by God. When empathy is mocked as weakness, violence becomes the only language left. Blessed be the ones still teaching boys that kindness is strength, not surrender.

Republicans won’t even sanction their members when they are guilty of fraud, or when they hold up photos of Hunter Biden’s enormous dick. But I still remember when Katie Hill was forced out of congress due to an ethics investigation because not her, and not with her permission, he ex-husband posted nude photos of her online. Once again their hypocrisy is ignored. And once again Democrats are the problem. And once again women shouldn’t be allowed to complain about being the victim of what other people, mostly male, do or say. They should just shut up, have babies, clean the house, and have dinner on the table at 6pm regardless of if her husband plans on being home in time. “She should have kept it hot.”

I thought it was because Katie had a relationship with a staffer. Again, pretty tame by Conservative standards. It was between two consenting adults. It was an ethical question. She didn’t deserve to lose her seat.

I thought the posting of nude pics by her ex was revenge porn, but not the reason she had to resign, or felt compelled to resign.

In any event, she was a democrat and she took responsibility, instead of blaming the other party for shaming her and turning herself into a victim, as conservatives often do. They all embrace a common philosophy and playbook - admit nothing, deny everything, deflect and shift blame to democrats, and never resign or concede anything. Dems are simply more serious, dignified and accountable. Not all of them, but many of them.

Al Fraken resigned because of a photo that was a joke. He basically acted out touching her breast and making twisting motion that was part of their act. Republicans pretend they actually have morals but most of them are as immoral as satin.

Can we expect Sir to bestow another Rittenhouse?

Kyle Rittenhouse, it never stops pleasing me to note, is currently working in a gun store in Milton, Florida, which, based on the map, appears to be as far from anything fun in Florida can be and still be in Florida.

He moved to Florida to be near the Great Man and send his career in Republican circles into the stratosphere.

Instead, he's just another Florida Man, in a Florida Job, who'll probably marry some Florida Woman and have some Florida Kids and live miserably ever after.

I wrote something a couple years ago about my prediction for Kyle Rittenhouse. He’d suffer a series of setbacks and failed careers and relationships. He was flying high after the murders and the acquittal when scummy people wanted access to his fame. He even was rumored to have some rather seedy women attracted to him for that reason - he was a MAGA troll with 15 minutes of fame. It was a novelty to say “I bought Kyle Rittenhouse a beer,” and even more so to say “I slept with Kyle Rittenhouse, that teenager who murdered protestors and got away with it.”

But the fame faded. His attempts to cash in on his rightwing violence didn’t last. He worked as an intern to one or more republican congressmen, and even they were unimpressed. After the dust settled, he wasn’t talented or a leader or even particularly outspoken. He was briefly famous for having gone looking for an excuse to shoot civilians with a high powered gun. But now he’s just another awkward young man, forever known as the kid who murdered unarmed protestors.

He will spend countless nights trying to make sense of what he did and who he is. I suspect Kyle will struggle with his mental health and stability for many years. Hopefully he gets therapy and confronts himself, has an awakening and becomes a passionate anti-violence and anti-gun activist. Then it’s possible for him to find meaning and purpose.

this is where we are...think about this for a minute...the SCOTUS has decided that the police have NO OBLIGATION TO PROTECT CITIZENS FROM HARM, even if a citizen has an order of protection...while they have also allowed masked, underqualified, over-armed federal agents and bounty hunters to intimidate, assault, KIDNAP, and illegally arrest without warrant ANYONE THEY WANT

just so these assholes in uniform can play soldier-boy with all their war gear on those pothole-filled streets
