Oddly enough, I didn’t really care much one way or the other either about the show until I saw this video. I think I’d seen the first episode, and found it “meh”. But I discovered the video during COVID, and having a lot of time on my hands got into the show and… it’s an acquired taste, but at least the first 5-7 seasons are a welcome relief from what Marc Maron calls “Thinky Pain”.

I will be attending the MSNOW shindig in Arlington, TX, on September 26, 2026 (I fly in on Thursday and fly out on Sunday.) It might be a good time to have an UNOFFICIAL Wonkette Binge at a large bar somewhere?? I look forward to meeting this group!!!
Doubling down yet again, on WHAT A GREAT PIECE OF MUSIC CRITICISM your non-eulogy for Dolly Parton was is downright Trumpian. Wonkette, you can do so much better. Why not just say WE SCREWED UP AND ARE SORRY. I hate the way the orange one's brittle persona is creeping into all aspects of our culture, and this is the last place I expected to find it.

Raise it to an even $1,000,000, If you make a million bucks you're not going to notice a slightly larger dent in your pay check. But also lower the age of eligibility, and the barriers to disability since some people (nurses, brick layers, etc.) body are wore out long before they reach 62.
I got a big lab-grown Tanzanite at a jewelry show 15-ish years ago and I LOVE it. It's big and bold and placed in a silver snake setting, which makes me look kind of like a girly biker chick. If it was a real Tanzanite I would have to put it into a crown or a royal parure or something because I'd be the queen of a small country that needed to wear my family's wealth in order to impress the colonizers.
I'm worried by Trump's talk about how decrepit the Kennedy Center is and unless he's allowed to tart it it'll have to be demolished. Because he's the sort of guy who would demolish a building just out of spite, like he did with the East Wing. Congress needs to asset its ownership of the Center, but with quisling Mike Johnson at the helm that's not likely.
It seems counterintuitive to use cool mine water as a source for high temperature space heating but that is how an AC/heat pump works. And I guess it beats drilling a deep well to access geothermal hot water. I wonder how a system like that would work using river water. The 5 degree (C) increase in discharge water might adversely affect fish and encourage algae blooms.
