That's why it's so fun to watch the communists and the libertarians argue, when they actually suffer from the same problem- a naive belief in the essential goodness of people. In any group of people there are bound to be at least a few who will stab you in the back and take all your shit- plan accordingly.

Pffft, young voters won't even realize it's an issue until 3 weeks after they've lost. if every young voter who should care actually voted I'd agree with you, but one out of ten even realizing there's an election ain't gonna cut it. They'll notice when their netflix bill doubles and spotify goes away, not until then
