I decided to not lie down and get abused tonight with the Reich radios. I heard the Spooks curses emanating through my car speakers, so yes, Dok's title for this story hit home. I have often done my fighting with words, and not protest. I tried to volunteer for anti ICE patrol in my neighborhood, and the woman who gave me the application QR code told me flat out that " We can't accept everyone. " Wow. So, I figure I just start asking the volunteers directly if I can help.

Are they on a boat? A cloud boat? In the sky? That looks like the stern of a boat called "The View". Looking from the stern in the clouds from their boat?

I'm old enough to remember the Fairness Doctrine. They would have public affairs shows, often hosted by Black people, at 1 or 2 AM, just before the national anthem.

Hank Napkin's avatar

Yeah well, fairness doesn't seem fair to some people who think if you can counter what they say and think with provable facts it would be unfair. To them. And you? You can go fuck yourself.

Looking foreword to the FCC going after all the right wing hate radio stations across the country and demanding that they have left wing shows on 50% of the time.

JFC, these people are repulsive.

Everything went downhill when Richard Nixon appeared on Laugh-In:

At least he had enough of a sense of humor to do it.

Could anyone tell me where I can find my stupid block list? As best I remember, there's only a couple of people on it, but I may want to rethink one of them

AI says

"Log in to your account at substack.com/settings.

Scroll down to the Content Preferences or Privacy and Safety section.

Select Blocked accounts.

From here, you will see a list of the profiles you have blocked and can choose to unblock any of them if you wish."

I don't know if I believe AI, but it could be a place to start

Thanks "M". I'll try that.

Besides under safety & privacy in your account?

I was pleasantly surprised to discover I only had 4 people on it, none of whom I care to reconsider.

I keep getting emails from a recruiter at Mercor. Scam or just desperation cries from a company that’s imploding?

I've been working for them (independent contractor, $50/hour) since August and I love it! As long as you don't mind helping train Skynet, it's great. ;-)

My last dog (r.i.p.) and I had a favorite park to walk to so we could play ball. There was a red winged blackbird that we saw almost every day. I loved it but stupid me never did get a picture 🤦‍♀️🙄

Rosemary Orlandi's avatar

I used to live across from a big field that would be full of red winged blackbirds ; then someone decided to develop it. No more red wings .

pennysmom's avatar

I just can't hit the like button for that 😢

We have a small pond with willow trees all around it. Every Spring a red winged blackbird takes up residence, declares his ownership to the world and sings his little heart out.

Has anyone watched this bananas show on HBO called Neighbors? It is seriously nuts! It's about neighbors having disputes and it just makes the people look out of their minds (sorry if that's a slur now, I am really running out of innocuous ways to say crazy). I watched all 6 episodes in one evening. Nobody paid me to post this just wondering if anyone else was witnessing this shit.

Is it real? Or a scripted series?

The boys, when younger, frequently used our whole heads as their Teddy bears. My childhood-and-youth heart cat, Piggy, wrapped his arms around my neck since tiny kittenhood. Oh, and we need some Jax pics. cough.

The movie is over if you'd like to join us there for OT.

Writers have amazing climaxes.

Unless you have writer's block, then nothing comes.

This Scammer Used an AI-Generated MAGA Girl to Grift ‘Super Dumb’ Men

Emily Hart is one of a slew of AI-generated hot girl MAGA influencers inundating social media, thanks to technologically savvy young men like Sam capitalizing both on pro-Trump sentiment and Americans’ relative lack of digital literacy.

The influencers are created from a specific template:

The same logic, however, apparently does not apply to left-wing influencer accounts, as Sam learned when he created a short-lived liberal counterpart for Emily on Instagram: “Democrats know that it’s AI slop, so they don’t engage as much.” (Sam’s explanation for why MAGA influencer accounts work is blunt: “The MAGA crowd is made up of dumb people—like, super dumb people. And they fall for it.”)

Dickmatized by AI. No sympathy for the MAGA. I straight up love this.
