Bill Cassidy: "I almost did not have sexual relations with that woman."

Sherry's avatar

With his FIL Bernie Sanders? Does this guy actually go to work in the congress? Jeebus I think that they are either picking candidates off the sex offenders registry or giving them IQ tests and the lowest one they promote. The stupidity is hard to ignore.

Cassidy: If it helps, I am definitely not going to vote for Max Miller. Unless, of course, he moves to Louisiana and runs for office there.

Donald and his wife don't even live in the same STATE. How is that supposed to be a "good marriage" that we should all aspire to, LOL.

El Bastardo's avatar

Okay, working on a Bill Cassidy "Spine" flavored Jello box, but it's taking me longer than I want it to.

I'll post something later in the OT.

I love you all. Except you (you know who you are).

Good this night.

Off in a ditch today I saw a Kid Rock sticker on a Cybertruck

Oh hell ya! I just watched video of 2 Swedish girls singing that to a live crowd in Kesärauha, Turku, Finland.

"Listen, I go by Timothy Eugene."

Funny. I've known El-Sayed's full name for months but I'm only just now learning that Tim Scott's middle name is Eugene. But I'm sure it's not xenophobia.

El Bastardo's avatar

That's Uncle Tomothy Eugene to you!

John P. Strycharz's avatar

And heaven forfend we say "Dr. El-Sayed."

OT: There was video of, IIRC, the governor of Nevada who said an Arab-sounding name at a PAB event.

The crowd booed ... like a Pavlovian reaction.

The governor had to correct them. Muslim-name-sounding guy was a cop who had recently been killed in the line of duty.

No Quid Bro Code's avatar

Yes. It was at the Trump event in Las Vegas where he was selling his awesome economy to the plebs.

2Cats2Furious's avatar

It might not be 100% true that ACAB, but it sure feels that way.

Our politics may be "post-Trump," but let's not lose sight of what's been going on in this country -- a nationalist, militarized attempt to take over all organs of government and media. This struggle is far from over. Hope for the best, fight for the best, but prepare for things to get worse before they get better. The Trump gang (all the tens of millions of them, leaders and followers alike) will not go gentle onto the ash heaps of history.

Peacing out for the day. Laters!

I'm about to as well. Tryna stop doomscrolling so much, and 98% of news is that, these days.

Carville hasn't been relevant since the last time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl and I don't know which one is the bigger insult.

R. Riddle's avatar

Well, no one ever accused James Carville of being able to read a room.

2Cats2Furious's avatar

Oh, FFS. Can someone get the hook and pull Carville off the stage?

No kidding…they are FREAKING OUT on MSNOW. Behave and be compliant, children, or ELSE four more Trumps

Pauly2coffees's avatar

MSNow are not on our side, any more than CNN is.

Caepan's avatar

Scarborough has never been on "our" side.

Pauly2coffees's avatar

I wasn’t referring to specific personalities. The network itself offers token opposition at best.

Sherry's avatar

And he an Mika went to Mar A Lardo to kiss the ring. Unforgiveable.

Tasner Hasenpfeffer's avatar

And if there had ever been any doubt this would tell you all you need to know about Carville.

El Bastardo's avatar

Hey, now.

Carville is as relevant as he's ever been...

(This just in)

"James Carville has never been relevant."

455 Rocket Cat, Space Donkey's avatar

They force him down our throats

El Bastardo's avatar

The adversaries are quite keen on that "throat forcing" metaphor.

I wonder what that's all about...

455 Rocket Cat, Space Donkey's avatar

It’s how Christian Nationalists take their Jesus…forced

El Bastardo's avatar

"Let Jesus come into you!"

Climate change comin’ in hot

Rosy red ASS's avatar

OMG FUCK OFF CARVILLE!!!! Go get a fucking hobby, like knitting.

Pauly2coffees's avatar

Knit yourself a sock, Jimmy, and then stick it in your mouth.

Look. That a Republican from Indiana is confused shouldn't surprise anyone.

PrimerGray's avatar

Are we talking about Mike Pence? Mother will straighten him out.

Bagels of Doom's avatar

I'm talking AOT, K, but specifically the senator from the clip. Indiana is a very confused state anyway.

fawkedifiknow's avatar

Kalshi wouldn't even take bets that Cassidy would cave; the odds that he would were prohibitive.

El Bastardo's avatar

If Jello came in "Spine" flavor, the box would have Cassidy's face on it.

A TV talkshow host running the Pentagon?

A podcaster running the FBI?

A kook with no medical background running the National Institute of Health?

A home builder with no intelligence as Director of National Intelligence?

Gamers as air traffic controllers?

This is not a serious administration.

So a friend said this is different, because MAGAts fly, so they'll be diligent about the training. Thots?

Christopher Bosch's avatar

MAGAts do not fly until or unless they mature into house flys.

Christopher Bosch's avatar

It is all a bad joke, and the joke is on us.

Tasner Hasenpfeffer's avatar

In the 1980s, there was a movie where video games were actually being used to recruit starfighters. lol

Galaxy Quest. In which Tim Allen plays himself, ably seconded by Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman.

A billionaire with a yacht ignoring a rescue call?

A "trillionaire" unable to land a rocket?

A bald industrialist who cannot defeat Superman? (Oh, wait, that one is fiction.)

Jeff Bezos could make a pretty good stand-in for Lex Luthor, but I think he's just too damn stupid. Luthor shows some cleverness on occasion.

fair_n_hite_451's avatar

Luthor actually cared about being a good villain. Bezos is just a accidental tool who happens to be wealthy.
