I've had a nibble of breakfast, a good bit of tea, took a hot shower with delicious-smelling body wash (it smells like cereal milk and soft serve ice cream), and yeah I popped onto the balcony to puff on my vape a little.
My appointment is at 1:30. And I can either eat lunch in the hospital cafeteria, or I could wait and grab some cheap food at the mall when I change buses. I don't know. If I eat before my appointment, it'll make me calmer going in. But if I wait, I can eat to either celebrate good news or mourn bad news. I'm leaning to waiting until after my appointment.
I know that the absolutely worst thing they can tell me won't happen. They're not going to look at my leg, poke it, and admit me then and there. And if that's the worst-case scenario today, then I'm comfortable in saying it ain't happening.
I guess it's just my nerves getting the best of me. I'm spending the next couple hours watching stuff on YouTube. Between videos about historical cooking and videos about forgotten, niche computer stuff, it's a good distraction. And on the bus I'll have loud music to drown out everything.

Back when Vermont was purple and usually split its senate reps, they said Bernie would have no appeal outside Burlington, rural voters etc., etc. He captured record numbers of republican voters and has easily won re election since. Doesn’t necessarily translate to Michigan, but what I will note is that El Sayed is a very blunt speaking fighter who doesn’t sound like a politician.
