"aimed at making people feel safe in the air"

Here's something that could make one feel less safe. Think about where the crowds are at an airport. There not where the planes load. Most of the people and therefore most of the potential terror is on the other side of the TSA fence...where a mob of people, each person pulling a bomb-sized carry on are milling around trying to find which screening station they need. Security Kabuki (I like it) is right. We're not making people safe...we're making the planes safe.

“I’m Rosa Parks with a Gibson.” More like Andrew Dice Clay with a Squier guitar.

Okay. The Amboy Dukes were pretty decent. Unfortunately, their modest success inspired Ted to pioneer the school of great-technique-with-no-musicianship guitar playing. This is probably because he is a jackass, but I suppose it could also be God's will.

The thing is, he is a consistent, decades-long, asshole. If he occasionally emits a sensible thought, it's just like an unexpected fart. There is no need to agree with it.

Nugent should be happy his Second Amendment advocacy has gotten more guns than ever in American's hands. Guns make us safer. And we have the body count to (dis)prove it.
