The Senate on Tuesday morning defeated a proposal from Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) to ban congressional earmarks. In a 39-56 vote, members defeated a temporary ban on the appropriations procedure. The moratorium was offered as an amendment to a food-safety bill that is scheduled for a final vote Tuesday morning.
And add a pay increase for Congress to top it off.
I'll take that bet. My prediction is that the loonies will rise up to meet whatever increasing insanity Mr. Beck has to offer.
5000 people a year die from foodborne illness in this country, 9/11 was what 3200 people 10 years ago? Why are we spending 1000x the amount on the military when we could prevent more deaths by having better food regulation? <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/e..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/eid/vol5no5/mead.htm">http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/e...
Glenn Beck is a human centipede upon himself.
