I don't want to come over as all Rightpondian here but who the fuck thought it was a good idea to have elected Attorneys General? Or elected sheriffs? Or DAs?Don't get me wrong, we have our share of selfserving arsehats but there isn't the same naked pandering.

How does a charitable foundation make a donation to a political organization?

Of course, this is the same Donald J. Trump Foundation that "took in" $6,000,000 promising 100% would go to US military veterans - and so far only half of it has (and that only after The Wall Street Journal asked what was going on)...

Just for the record - Mrs. Helmsley got the shaft. There is no real evidence she ever said that. Basically, she was sent to prison because people thought she was a bitch. She overpaid her taxes - not underpaid.

Every April the IRS makes an example out of a prominent person to make people think out Federal income tax system is fair.

Schneiderman is one of the most dedicated public servants in NYS. The Working Families Party (ACORN renamed) managed to get him elected over some Long Island Democratic corporate lawyer. I can see why he would rub Donald the wrong way.
