The only thing that wins, and still keeps our ethics intact, is a really charismatic candidate. After what BoJo just did to Corbyn in the UK, and looking at all the major elections in my lifetime since Carter, I think the ONLY (I'm serious) thing that determines winners is charm/charisma/ability to fire up a crowd. You have to have more than your opponent.
That's why I was for Bernie in 2016. Not for some dumb cult flowing vibe. And when the less charismatic candidates get all sanctimonious and condescending toward the charismatic candidates, they turn off the followers, like Hilary did to Bernie, Corbyn did to BoJo.
(not for Bernie anymore, he has too much baggage, the sanctimonious contingent has poisoned him). But only maybe Warren can keep up with Trump, has the charm and fire to draw the crowds. No one else comes close.

I do think he is very angry and is doing these pardons as a form of retribution. But I can’t really read Republican anymore.
