The only thing that got stolen was the gun that this hillbilly Travis left a gun in his unlocked truck. He should have been arrested for being a moron.
Oh, man. I just read the report. The DA lied so many times in it. First, he said the crackers were "in hot pursuit," when they were just parked in the middle of the road with their drivers' side door open. Then he said the hillbillies had a right to detain Ahmaud because he committed a crime in their presence or within their immediate knowledge. He did not. (The only crime they reported was when Travis -- the apparent product of consanguinous marriage -- left his gun in his unlocked truck and got it stolen.) The DA claims he SAW THE VIDEO and that Travis only shot Ahmaud in the hand after he tried to grab the gun. But the audio proves that Travis fired the gun before Ahmaud tried to grab it, and that he then tried to wrestle the gun away. At that point, Ahmaud had witnessed Travis commit a crime (battery w/ firearm) and had a right under GA law to detain HIM.
I don't think the public should be satisfied with an indictment of the rednecks. This was a case of the entire neighborhood drumming up suspicion against Ahmaud and the DA covering it up. Indict them all for filing false reports, and Travis for murder.
I hope Lucy McBath jumps into the media fray when she can. She is amazing, is in Congress specifically because of this shit because she lived through it. Thankfully her boy got justice.
I wonder if the police bothered to do a drug toxicology screen on those yahoos. If not, that is a big big big HUGE failure. Because yeah. Who the fuck does that.

we just had the 50th anniversary of the Kent State shooting, and the question one has to ask themselves--if Gretchen Whitmer had called the National Guard to break up the protests at the Michigan Capitol, and three or four of those cosplay commandos ended up dead, who would get the blame? I say they should've done what they were told and dispersed (in the hypothetical),
