He must’ve had a large extended family or else maybe he could’ve moved away.

Back in the 80’s I heard about I guy I knew and another I think was a pastor of his church, they up and left because they knew that was the only way. I guess this guy didn’t have anyone but it was like this in all small towns across America and still is to only a little less extent. A bigger city is the only way for people to live their lives the way they need to. It shouldn’t be that way but sadly it still is.

He didn't commit suicide because he was outed, he committed suicide because of some of the depravity that he put online. He himself in the original article by 1819 said he was not transgender. He was not transitioning. And his wife knew about everything. Some of which was a lie because he said I didn't harm anybody I have nothing to be ashamed of well he may not be ashamed but these writings are disturbing. And they involved using real names of real people in his community. And used photos of minors from his community, to make pornographic memes that said things like "take the shots get the implants become the whore"...

He didn't deny it. All these people singing his praises are conveniently ignorant of the dark side. Here's the text from the original article where he admits to it though he initially denied it all. And before you think that I am judging him, I'm not, but I think it is important that public figures live a life that is transparent and true and sets good role modeling for everyone in our community. Any school teacher would be fired immediately If posts like these were discovered. And, guess what, his wife is a school teacher.

During an interview with 1819 News, Copeland confirmed that he operated the account and was featured in the pictures.

He claimed it was only a means of “getting rid of stress” and called the postings a “hobby” and a “fantasy.” He also said his erotica was “purely fiction.”

After the interview, Copeland promptly deleted the accounts and asked them not to be made public due to his family and position as a pastor.

Copeland initially denied having any knowledge of the accounts, but when he was made aware of the social media evidence, he quickly admitted to running the page. He also said that his wife was aware of his activity, but no one else in the community.

Copeland told 1819 News dressing up as a woman has been a “hobby” since youth as a release from anxiety.

Despite his claim of this online lifestyle being little more than a casual pastime, Copeland did offer advice to others on chemically transitioning.

He emphatically stated that he does not feel like a woman and has not undertaken a medical transition. However, he has offered his Instagram handle as a method for people to reach out to him, which he claimed was a means to “make friends.”

“Just my wife knows about it,” Copeland said. “It’s a hobby I do to relieve stress. I have a lot of stress, and I’m not medically transitioning. It’s just a bit of a character I’m playing. … I don’t go out and seek solicitation or anything like that.”

He continued, “It’s something that I don’t intermingle with the other. It’s private. I don’t do it in the public or anything like that. … It’s just a fictional character I made up to relieve stress.”

Copeland also declined to offer any explanation to the citizens of Smiths Station or his church parishioners about his so-called hobby. He said he believed his activity was “not relevant” and only relegated to the privacy of his home. He repeatedly referred to his activity as akin to “dress-up” and “cosplay.”

“It’s just a hobby that I have inside my own home that has not traveled outside of my home"

No one should have to live in a closet. No one should hate themselves over clothes. No one should hate themselves over makeup. Or their gender. Or loving someone the same gender. Under no circumstances, should someone die because of these.

This is just so sad, I wonder what Craig Monger does about his sexual obsessions besides cruelly outing other people.

Despite being a Republican, I've heard that he was well known for helping people in need, and did a lot of relief work for various disasters in the area.

Given that if I say what's really in my mind could get me banned from a great community, in not going to say a thing about what I’d like to see happen to Hate Monger. I will say “blanket party” and leave it at that.

OMG I'm so glad I came out in the pre-interenet era. I was terrified of being seen going to a gay bar. Reading this brought back that same dread. We've made progress, but goddam the forces trying to hold us back.
