I sincerely frickin' hope so. I feel like we're in a similar position to the problem of whether Torah had any exceptions to fighting on the Shabbat.

Some must pray.Some must fight.

Need more fighters who stand up for democracy and Constitution without apology to the people who think they represent rich donors and no one else.

ETA: And that means standing together, not holding out for the Purity Pony franchise. Revisit that when corporations aren't people, and when Roe v. Wade, Social Security, and Medicare are safe.

No.

Innocent until proven guilty.

This behavior is highly recividist. If he's a problem, there will be more proof than a single claim with a convenient photo.

We must be consistent with the law.

We all know google can be manipulated, For instance one Wonker googled the Hillary +uranium, and it took 3 pages to get the real breakdown of why it was bullshit. All it takes is many bots posting false stories.

Yes, the good ones will get tarred and the bad ones won't think it is aimed at them.

When I was young, one of the commonplace tactics used to defend against a charge of rape was a threat made by the rapist to his victim, that all of his friends (his fraternity brothers, co-workers, or whatever) would testify under oath in court that the victim was a "slut," that she had voluntarily engaged in sexual relations, that she had not only had sex with the accused but with all his friends as well. Her "reputation" would be destroyed: it would be her word against all of theirs, and no-one would believe her.

In short, young men who were not rapists---who would perhaps never have dreamed of committing a vile act like rape against another human being---were willing to perjure themselves in sworn testimony, to support the universal principle of male solidarity: to protect one of their "brothers" from the charge of rape and its legal consequences, to keep him from being destroyed by some ruined, tainted woman.

Perhaps most men are not rapists. But historically, most men have been willing to remain silent, or even to commit the crime of perjury, to protect a rapist. Nowadays, a majority of men are still willing to cast doubt on the testimony of a woman, or to complain, querulously, that the shifting standards of sexual conduct have burdened them unduly.

The great cultural change that feminists have been trying to bring about for the last half century or so, is for groups of men to feel a moral, ethical, legal and cultural sense of obligation to the victim of rape, not to the perpetrator. That's the extent to which feminists have asked men to change. It's really not too much to ask.

Maybe Mitch can say there's a precedent for not filling a Senate seat in the first year of a President's term.

Some people are so resistant to seeing there's a SPECTRUM of bad behaviour. It's like demanding the death penalty for shoplifting. There should be punishment for groping and tongue-shoving an adult during rehearsal, but if it's the same as the punishment for a repeated pattern of child molestation, or multiple drug-fueled rapes, then there is no justice and it really is a witch hunt.

There is an Eddie Murphy monologue on that in Raw. He states all men cheat on their wives, he then describes a guy in the audience sitting with his wife. On the way home the wife asks him "if that is true do you cheat on me?" "He keeps repeating "Eddie Murphy is a funny guy."

They reek here in Georgia too, but half of them are in it for the money. So if something odious comes up from the Teabaggers, we can fight it with corporations (Delta, Coke, Mercedes, Porsche, Turner/CNN etc..) and the Black Caucus (which they also fear because publicity.

The problem is that while there are A LOT of men who wouldn't be unwelcomingly handsy, they pretty much all have at least that one friend that nobody in their friend-group ever says anything to,even though somebody should.
