I look forward to the Alabama legislature actually voting to keep the language as is. The rest of us will go to town with that.

Welp, it's time Americans took a vow never again to elect a president from below the Mason-Dixon line, including Texas. This is my new theory about why the GOP has gone so batshit crazy. I am very proud of this theory. It is my Insight of the Day.

It's not just that Obama is black--it's that he's from Chicago. This is in contrast to:

Truman - Missouri Eisenhower - Texas Johnson - Texas Nixon - Mars Carter - Georgia Bush - Fake!Texas Bush Jr. - Texas Clinton - Arkansas

vs. Kennedy - Massachusetts Ford - Someplace normal, who the hell cares Reagan - California

Contrast this with the previous generations, when presidents came from all over--Iowa, New York, Vermont, Ohio, Virginia ... It's a truism that the 20th century saw a disproportionate influence by the South on national politics. I think the nice folks down in the patriotic, Real(TM) part of America have gotten way too used to pwning the whole damn process. I bet if Obama had been some southern-grown negra fellah such as Andy Young or someone like that, the insanity would not have reached this level.

I figure, a hundred years or so of never having a southerner in the WH would be a healthy corrective. After that, folks might calm down a bit.

The simple fact that Teatards are spring-loaded to start screaming "racism" every time the word "race" is even mentioned just proves that they have no idea what it really is.
