Avelina the tufted deer fawn really does have magnificent ears, framing that brand-new-to-the-world naive wee face...

Appears to be some sort of Babby Dear. But it could be any number of genetic atrocities!

WTF - I clicked on the Olivia Rodrigo video and got a six second "join ICE" ad, and no Olivia.

Did Trump pardon his 2020 co-conspirators before or after the traitorous Democrats ended the filibuster? As in, was he trying to bury his pardons under news of Congress re-opening?

So I like to make folk-arty quilt-adjacent stoles, (which is a weird af occupation for a nonbeliever, but then, I've only made them for friends of the liberal Christian persuasion. Hey, it's a long skinny art quilt, lol.) One of my fellow altos in chorus got ordained yesterday so I made her a stole covered in rainbow music notes. She _loved_ it, and because her mama forgot to bring the one she'd bought, (oops; I feel ya, Mama), mine was the one she wore first as a brand-new pastor. :)

"Cornell University is the latest to cave to the regime’s demands to get its federal funding back, to the tune of $60 million: they pledged to put extra $30 million to agriculture research, and then pay $30 to the government directly, for whatever it is they did, woke blah blah blah."

WTF is this? It is word salad.

70-plus people involved with the fake electors scheme were pardoned yesterday, probably because the maladministration thought everyone would be distracted by the caving Democrats in the Senate. Unfortunately for Roodles, Sidney Powell, et al., Trump has zero power to pardon them for state crimes.

Also, there's still that rumor that Trump is fighting so hard to prevent SNAP money from being distributed because...it's all gone. Whether from DOGE looting, giving ICE a blank check, or whatever. What we can surmise is that there are very few reasons for what is happening with SNAP as people go hungry: there's no SNAP money, they really are just being cruel to be cruel, or a combination of the two.

Also too, if you're curious about how life is going for a retail wage slave with a managerial title and zero benefits of any kind, go check out my Substack. I'm still upset from yesterday--just a smidge less pissed off.

Since elections are state's responsibility, those charges should have been state instead of federal and untouchable by tfg. Oh well.

600,000 by the end of the year, eh, Ms. Norm? That's 10,000 A DAY and your goons can't even manage 300 a day.

Pere Ubu's avatar

"We suggest Ms. Rodrigo thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice"

Huh, has anyone asked specifically WHAT sacrifice?

Over the weekend I re-watched Seven Days in May, the first scene of which is a protest outside the White House that turns violent, and the police wade in and arrest people. No body armor, no rifles, no grenade launchers. Take a fucking risk and maybe I'll believe this "sacrifice" bullshit.

Neville Chamberlain would be so proud of those senators.

So would Franz von Papen

I failed to grasp the larger picture!!! Thanks to a blogger I follow, I have grasped what the Senate just did!!!

The CR must now go back to the House for a vote...wherein:

A. Little Mikey will have to call them back into session,

B. Little Mikey will have to seat Grijalvi,

C. Little Mikey will automatically trigger the Epstein vote.

D.C. plastic surgeons see surge in "Mar‑a‑Lago face" requests from Trump insiders

It's a situation Kulkarni calls "filler blindness." If you add more and more product to your face and are surrounded by people who do the same, "you lose sight of anatomic normalcy."
