There's no need for a conservative hunting permit because they do a good enough job of shooting themselves -- red states have a horrendous number of people killing each other in "hunting accidents", children shooting other children with guns they "found", and so forth. There's a part of my town (recently listed as most conservative city in USA by some think tank) where I constantly see the most fucked up bumper stickers and decals. A few years ago I saw "SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL DEATH SQUAD" and recently I saw a parody of those family decals, but instead of stick figures it was skulls with nazi helmets. Fucking hell.
Yeah, I'm grateful every single day for being born white; I have done certain involuntary nervous movements in front of cops that have "caused" many black and brown unarmed children to be shot to death.
Ex. cop asking me if I use my Dad's tire pressure checker (looks like a small aluminum baseball bat) to hit people. I looked at it and automatically pointed towards it before explaining what it was and how it is used.
