Eric son of Ericson's fat fucking nasty face is all over every news site this morning, but the Wonkette has spared us. Why?

I hadn't thought of that song for at least forty years. Thanks for a brief glance into my youth.

Because my wife died when our kids were small, I had to teach my sons how to cook, do laundry, and respect women. I'm happy to contribute to the dissolution of society in this way.

I don't settle for sub-par women.

On a completely unrelated note, I am forever single.

Yes, the reality of a woman making a career out of preaching that women should not have careers is quite nauseating isn't it?

This is nothing more than another front in Fox News crusade to protect the beleaguered white, heterosexual Christian male. You can only get so much mileage out of the Messicans and the Muslins and Teh Gheys all coming for the those poor persecuted victims- of course the Feminazis have to be called out also too.

Ironically, it's been GOP led changes to society that brought all those uppity wimmens into the workforce in the first place- it wasn't a desire for equal rights that ushered in the flood of women into the workplace in the 70's and 80's, it was the steady erosion of the male's earnings. Something was needed to paper over the fact that breadwinners were losing ground to the cost of living and that the American Dream was starting to unravel, so the Fundie wing was told to bite their tongue and accept women in the workforce as a means of allowing the middle class to keep their heads above water thanks to that second income (by the 90's the bandaid to hide that steady erosion had become easy credit). It was understood that the women were supposed to stick to the bottom rungs of the economic ladder and accept lesser pay, but after a few decades those uppity women expected to be treated equally.

Now it's just another wedge issue to bamboozle the idiot GOP base and get them to blame yet another demographic for the fact that their lives suck. Instead of being mad at the plutocrats who have sucked them dry by making sure that their pay no longer covers their expenses, despite increasing productivity- blame the wimmens for taking your job. Never mind the fact that if their pay HAD kept up with inflation and corporate profits, most families would still have the luxury of deciding whether or not they wanted to be a single breadwinner family like they used to be. Scapegoating and divide and conquer 101
