Yep! Yesterday we went to a Marble Slab Creamery (ice cream store) in Bellaire, which is an upscale enclave in Houston. There was a poster on the window urging everyone to "Get Rid of the Evil CCP!" I know they're evil but (a) did they really release the virus on purpose; (b) if they did, what can I do about it?; and (c) TFG said time and time again that the virus "came from Wuhan" but what did he ever do about that? Nothing, which means he was either bullshitting us all along, or he was too much of a pussy to do anything about it.
If the Delta variant gets a firmer toehold, I hope the vaccines will protect against it. If not, the unvaccinated will unleash the virus on those of us who have vaccinated. I checked the CDC website about how long we can expect the vaccine to last. They upfront say they don't know. Other sites say six months or longer. We may be heading into a perfect storm. Maybe the administration can cut off highway funds to states that legislate against vaccination measures.
