Here is some excellent news for Republicans running for president on the "I'm gonna murder Obamacare DEAD because it is the worst thing EVER, and everyone HATES it" platform: not every single American is opposed to that! And yet: This month’s Kaiser Health Tracking Poll finds public opinion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) continues to be almost evenly split, with 43 percent reporting a favorable view and 42 percent reporting an unfavorable view. The share with a favorable view exceeds the share with an unfavorable view for the first time since November 2012, albeit by one percentage point, and the difference is within the survey’s margin of sampling error and is not statistically significant.
Ah, but any taxes I pay, and deductions from my paycheck, simply disappear into the Abyss. Now, excuse me while I gripe about how the city doesn't fill in potholes quick enough.
Too bad "Obamanomics" wasn't more of a thing, as the economy is likely to be cresting leading up to 2016. That would have been fun to watch that boomerang come back and whack 'em.
The problem of course is that the WRONG PEOPLE will be getting government benefits. You know...dark skin, might speak Spanish, possibly adhere to some heretical religion like Catholicism, Judaism, or Islam.
How many with a unfavorable view don't even need to use the exchanges for the ACA? I find many who oppose it have ins through employers and it does not affect their coverage at all. OR have Medicare, Medicaid.
