Will Donalds resign his seat and establish residency in another state at the possibility of being the VP candidate?

Answers next week. Same batshit time. Same batshit channel.

Moses Johnson will figure out a way to change the rules......*every time I ear 'Mike' Johnson's name, it reminds me of blazing saddles.....

Whoever is giving him the money tells him who to pick. And at that point they start figuring out how quickly they get to become President after Diaper Don has an 'accident/cardiac event/explodes/falls down his staircase/cuts himself shaving with a chainsaw/open limo in Dallas/etc'

Pence was chosen to help lock down the Bible-fucker vote for a candidate who was, according to their puritanical morality, an utterly “godless” reprobate. Now, after giving them everything they wanted, the JEEZ-us creeps thinks Trump is literally the Second Coming, so he doesn’t need a Pence. I’d look to see which Republican faction is the least happy with Trump and which members of that group are willing to bend the knee and suck the mushroom.

Trump originally wanted Christie. Manafort manufactured a fake mechanical issue on the jet that forced him to stay overnight in Indianapolis, allowing him to meet up with the Governor.

I always assumed Vlad didn't want Christie there.

Fucking eleventy-dimensional Kremlin chess master. He thought Christie was a tough guy.

It wasn't that bad a week for Donald's Donalds. The NYT's gave him quite a write up this weekend. The headline intimated that he was an education expert. He's a charter school asshole. That's good coverage for him. Whenever the NYT's elevates somebody like this, they don't take comments. Which is weird, right?

It seems that quite a large percentage of the population would prefer a more authoritarian type. government headed by a strong man President. As long as they're not told how many or what type of guns they can own, it's all good.

> But the problem for the Republican Party is that with corporations admitting to price gouging while blaming inflation during record jobs and a fifty-year-low in unemployment, it’s gonna be hard to claim we are in worse times than Trump years before or during Covid.

And yet, millions (*hundreds* of millions?) of voters seem to not know that, and seem to think that we're actually in a recession, not a boom. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

People actually believe the President has some control over the price of consumer goods

People actually believe Democratic Presidents have some control over the price of consumer goods. Republican Presidents just let the markets do their thing.

Mother told Mikey that he's not allowed to hang out with Fat Donnie anymore. That keeping "Bad Company" would land him in trouble. She's told other Republican "Moms" they should do the same

"America's Next Top Mike Pence Contest Continues!"

Funny, given the way Trump always treated him, I've never thought of Pence as a "top". If you know what I mean.

Byron Donalds. What metric was better? Covid was life and death. What was the Trump program? A glass of bleach and a light stuck up your ass. Americans may be foolish at times but they are not insane.

David Bailey's avatar

A country with 4% of the global population accounted for fully 20% of global COVID deaths, under Trump. That appalling statistic never got the attention or notoriety it deserved, and certainly Trump has never been held to account for the needless thousands of deaths that occurred on his watch.

For the millionth time, will you accept the results of the election Senator Uncle Tom?

We need one cable news talking heads to buck the owner and get away with it because of a groundswell of public opinion.

Let your frustration show and announce you won't interview any elected official who won't answer that question in a simple, straightforward manner. You can argue that to allow that to continue is a disservice to your viewers, who tune in to be informed. They can fill all those slots with Democratic office holders more than willing to answer the question and would be thrilled to get their party's accomplishments under Biden spread far and wide.

If Trump asked Tim Scott to sing Mammy with a cane and top hat while on CNN I’m 100 percent sure he would do it. He’s unbelievably pathetic

Daniel O'Riordan's avatar

He's also not going to get the nod because Trump is an unbelievable racist. If he spoke at a Klan rally, they'd be like, "Whoe! Dude! Dial it back a little."

Thin skin? His skin's so thin you could stick a toothpick into his heart.

It's one of my favorite things about him (the other is that he's mortal).

Objection. Assumes facts not in evidence.

We're only about a month and a half away from the GOP convention. Perhaps he will announce it there in a split screen on CNN also showing the convention protestors outside the venue.

I assume he'll wait until the last possible moment for the ratings.

They didn't just "reserve" the front few rows for red hat wearers: they literally cleared the front rows of the Libertarians before moving the MAGAts in there.
