Last year they unknowingly elected a black man as Attorney General because he was in the Republican column and Mitch had put him there. His time in office would have an unremarkable and out-of-sight nothingburger of carrying out McConnell's orders, until Brionna Taylor was murdered, so you may have heard of him.
If you look at Fivethirtyeight's projections the most extreme statistical outcome for Biden has him carrying all but 10 states, giving Trump only 52 electoral votes, and Kentucky is one of them. It really is one of the very worst there is, and we live on a blue island in a sea of redneck racist stupidity. I support McGrath and have sent money and helped volunteer with the campaign, but it is really a long shot. There is nothing McConnell could do or say to lose those voters.
