Whipping children with switches is not a racial thing. It could be a southern thing. My white parents whipped us with switches 50 years ago, when a belt wasn't available. Mostly it is a low-class, ignorant, inexcusable thing done by people who should not have children. I don't care what happened to you as a child. There is no excuse for whipping a child.
