And one more thing. Back when Roe v Wade was passed, it was for abortion on demand. Yet all I read about are women giving reasons why they needed an abortion.

Until we get abortion on demand restored, our bodies are not our own.

How does anyone know the sex of a first trimester embryo? "Unborn son" is a male fantasy.

And whose body is it? Does the boyfriend, rapist, husband or whomever have any rights over a woman's body? Her husband apparently thought so, because he "talked her into" two abortions she didn't want. But is he being sued for it? Apparently not.

As a 68 year old feminist who has had 2 abortions back in the 1970s, I'm just disgusted by all of this. Men are shoving us back into the lives women led prior to 1974, only it's gotten so fanatical that women are dying from miscarriages and men are suing doctors because they think they own either the woman's body or the fetal tissue growing inside it, or both.

This Jerry Rodriguez guy is a bullshit artist hoping for a payout. I think the same thing about his lawyer. Men like them know how to game a set of laws to use the courts to squeeze a big payout from wealthy civil respondents. They're both trash bags.

"More than anything, she needs to get the ever-loving fuck away from this man. Also the other man. Also, Texas."

Excellent advice.

Uh, try birth control, doesn’t sound smart enough to be having sex period. (As in choices made…..)Duh

If you'd read the article, you would know the woman wanted both pregnancies but that her estranged husband talked her into getting the abortions, and had the doctor send her the medication.

There ought to be one Lorena Bobbitt for every Jerry Rodriguez.

There is no doubt this piece of shit will not support any of his bastard children. These animals should all be sterilized.

Ta, Robyn. Why, oh! why, does this jerkwad have a girlfriend? What kind of self-loathing dipshit would lay with him? Grrr. I suppose there's no accounting for tastelessness. At least I get to enjoy the lovely illustration of Timoclea.

I find it all a bit weird, this married woman with a boyfriend who gets her pregnant and the husband who talks her into 2 abortions? Honestly, who the hell are these people? The woman is obviously not too bright, and the men are users and dirtbags.

khaa-ryst, what a horrible story...not a good guy to be found anywhere, so it's a cinch this one will go to the shithead six of the supreme court....clearly, their latest bullshit shenanigans and instructions on filing class action suits in their last ruling was meant for this type of case, and they WILL ban mailing script abortion meds when this one makes it there

also, does K not know there are 100s of ways to not get pregnant?....jaazyzuus, fucking texas 😠

also #2-- wonkette...do i have to go back to my emails tab for a clearance code to sign in and comment here EVERYfucking time? 🙄

The woman reportedly wanted to be pregnant.

Anyway, ask the "help" section of Substack.

Since the boyfriend provided the pills, how is he not responsible and subject to prosecution?

Someone should find the women, have her go after the man who was treating her so badly under the same laws, and sue his lawyers for aiding and abetting his criminal conspiracy to terminate her pregnancy.

Her boyfriend didn't get the pills for her. Her husband did.

I think.

The article says husband.

K really needs to learn about how to not get pregnant, she needs some help! Also, I have seen a 12 week miscarriage, you cannot tell the gender, there is not a true umbilical cord to cut. Also, does this attorney think the umbilical cord is attached to the uterus? It would have been in the embryonic sac with the placenta.

Certain segments of American society really don't like talking about icky female things.

This story is messed up. If the woman is separated from her husband why is she still taking advice from him.

If Jerry is so fertile and wants a baby so badly, maybe he should just impregnate a woman who *wants* to have his baby and is not married to someone else. But like Robyn said, "Jerry Rodriguez of Texas is a trash bag of a person and no one should ever have his child."
