I think there’s a difference in environments between a photo shoot and a strip club. I’ve met and seen some extremely talented and vibrant strippers, but most strip clubs aren’t high-end. And there are different grades of photography studios as well. Artists models tend to not be model-perfect. They are selected for their “realistic” features. And they aren’t sexualized objects. The environment is everything.
I would totally be interested in reading the study if you can find the link again. I’m always curious to see how they measure human variables that are normally impossible to verify... psychology is a rather “soft science”. And still, there are ways to measure statistical data on human emotion that are somewhat reliable. But, like so many studies nowadays, the publicized results often reflect an unscientific conclusion for the sake of seeking publicity, and thus, funding.
