On top of which nobody wants to ask McGahn about policy they want to ask him about all the crimes he witnessed. Which ought not to be protected by executive privilege anyway. It’s not supposed to be like a power up in a video game. It’s for policy and other forms of presidential deliberations.

Just claim executive privilege and separation of powers, and then say that the cop only ticketed you based on hearsay, in that he only had someone else's word for it that whatever you did was an infraction because he did not personally attend the session of the legislature in which that rule or law was enacted.
