I think the police should be fired and denied their pensions. Told people before. we have 17 cops now in my peaceful township, but 20 years ago a nutcase from Colorado got off a plane and rented a car and took the assault rifle out of his suitcase and started driving through towns killing random people. Ended up crashing in my town (3 houses down from me) and went into a park and hid. The police in town just ran in there for a gun fight with this guy. It was not even a school and he had no captives. But they didn't know where he went and they didn't want him shooting anyone who walked past any part. It was across from the police station and they just ran out and into the park. killed him. no cops got hurt.
Also threw the teacher under the bus, saying she left the door open when she got back in. But no, she closed the door, it was supposed to lock automatically and it did not.
who was th good guy with the gun, was there one anywhere? I recall the black guy without a gun taking down a shooter with an assault rifle with his hands. Yes, It is frightening that the police in this country no longer serve the community, but only seek to preserve their own hides in any encounter with the public. So the police are now "Public Enemy Number One," OR every man, woman, and child (especially) immigrants, African Americans, and Latinos, are "Public Enemy Number One." I think it is us. The statistics about death by police officers, and now "Death by Police Deliberate INACTION," tell the story. They are at war with the public, and I can tell also because police officers are armed to the teeth in battle gear and are deliberately trained in unban warfare. The only things missing are tanks, and I am sure they will be next. I, even as a white person, believe I should be afraid also going forward.
