In the olden days (before the law changed in 1974), grantor and grantee index books grouped various related (and perhaps not particularly related) last names together. I have a soft spot for North American opossums. They’re masters at carrion and vermin eating, and they help eliminate ticks, vacuuming them up like a tipsy college student shoving baskets of free tortilla chips into their gullet at the local Chili’s.
Are they really that green? That’s wild - while it seems an obvious camo choice, I can only think of animals with fur in shades of brown/black - even white in polar bears. But green?

Hmmm - One wonders what the silent prisoners were threatened with, in order for them to silence them in front of the "Norte Americana funcinaria". As it is, apparently she stood in front of two miserably crowded cells of prisoners in order to make her press pool announcement.

They're really brown, grey, and slightly green. The foliage makes them look more green. When you see one rooting through a garbage pale, mostly grey.
I found in my research that they are possums in Australia, a different species than North American opossums.
