Citizens United IS nakedly political--they have been doing it for quite some time.

Have you perhaps forgotten what happened when there was a vacancy Mr. Obama had a chance to fill? It was stolen by Mitch (A-Hole, KY).

Because banning immigration, or not, is considered foreign policy and thus fully within the purview of the President. Congress has little say over such matters. But deciding the rights granted to immigrants once they're here is a different thing, I believe.

Well, you do with cat shampoo? They do not, however, as a whole, care for it greatly and nor should you do it oft as it can actually damage their skin.but for fleas or dead gunk hangin off them it is ok

They always overlook all that "harder to get a rich man in to heaven, than a camel through the eye of a needle" stuff, too. I guess the fact that the Bible is lousy with references to how gross rich people are, kind of goes over their heads.

at this point my husband and i are taking it as a given that the economy will collapse and trying to decide if we should invest in stocks or property.... we don't have debt or anything so I'm not looking for sympathy - just pointing out that things are pretty ugly when you spend your days not wondering if things will collapse but rather which will recover more quickly.

To be honest, it doesn't surprise me a damned bit.

They are truly awful. And now Blackie Lawless has "found God," joining many other metal musicians going completely crazy in their old age. (Looking at you, Mustaine.)

Actually, she was gang raped by the bass player of WASP and his friend. I could take you to the place it happened, if it still exists. It's in Hollywood, CA.

RBG seems determined to cling to that seat until a liberal is in power and while I might doubt the ability of anyone else to do so ... she might be capable of defying death to stick it to the moron.

I'd like to think Metal culture has grown up, but in my opinion, it's only gotten worse. It's why I've scaled waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back on it and listen to other old bands ... Genesis, Pink Floyd, The Police, The Who, Bad Company, etc., but there are still some I listen to frequently. I don't want to even be seen trying to prop up their misogyny any more.

This was long ago...more than 30 years, and my friend moved on and is now a happily married lady. This is how bad it SUCKED to be a female musician in the late '70's.
