It's like six months worth of fulminating, unhinged, largely fact-free, hate-laced, incendiary Bill O'Reilly segments about Dr. George Tiller boiled down to one creepy novella, plus someone's idea of "legalese," evidently learned from Lifetime movies.

In an 11-page handwritten appeal

It was then that the lawyer in me flashed back to all my times dealing with pro se litigants and settled in for some real crazy stuff.

I also enjoyed letters of complaint from somewhat nutty people (usually I was not the one being complained about, but just had a position that seemed like a good one to complain to). They all had the same handwriting.

So he nonviolently murdered 3 people and and nonviolently injured over 150 people and nonviolently gave untold others nightmares for life? Sure.

I'm kind of surprised that Eric Robert Rudolph gave up on the "they deserved to die" defense. I mean, that would be about as pathetic and disgusting as his "It was not an act of violence" defense.
