I'll have you know that I own the copyright to the soon to be produced "Fifty Shades of White" and will defend it to the ends of the earth.

In 5th grade I got called in to the principal's office because I wore shorts under my dress (girls had to wear skirts) so I wouldn't have to worry about the wind blowing up my dress on the playground. I don't think I need to say more about why they saw that as a problem. Didn't get sent home, but was told not to do it again.

Oh, so been there, done that! I proficiencied out of the math requirement due to my ACT scores and I don't know what got into me, but I signed up for calculus class. I hate math. And I was so lost after just 3 weeks, I came to my senses and dropped it.

It took way too long, but I finally learned to accept my limits, because every time I conned myself into thinking I could walk on water, I found out I couldn't even swim. I don't go near the water anymore.

Yeah, just don't own property. What they lack in income tax, they make up with Real Estate Tax.

Delete the word inherently. It is meaningless and implies a universality that does not exist among races. Then, let teachers tell the truth about history as best they can, like before this recent fascist movement.

You'd think they'd appreciate the extra modesty that shorts under a dress would bring

I actually got paddled for wearing a cute little sun dress (that i had worn to church with no problem) to school - in fairness, it violating multiple sections of the dress code (sleeveless, breasts too visible, too short( and I was a repeat violator and a bit too vocal about the unfairness of a dress code that requires girls to dress in a more uncomfortable manner than boys (we didn't have to wear dresses or skirts - were allowed to wear pants, but since shorts for girls were effectively banned a dress or skirt was the only comfortable option for the warm part of the school year in Georgia)

As y'all say, "No worries, Mate." It's all in good humor.

OK, so inherently is an overbroad, maybe a racist of saying that some characteristic is essential, universal and without question.

Please name three other persons, places, things or ideas that are universal, essential and beyond question.

Ah, but see, not having to worry about the wind meant I could play more rambunctiously! The boys wouldn't be able to tease me about seeing my panties, so I could play tag on more equal terms. You see the problem now?

As sexist as the school was when I was in school, it's a bit difficult for me to believe it was even worse and more sexist

My father-in-law was paying RE tax at 3x the rate in my area of Va. by the time I paid RE tax and income tax, I was still paying less per dollar than his RE tax. NH pays off for millionaires in shacks.

I got sent home for not wearing a belt. Getting sent home was not a small matter, since it was a regional school and it took 2 hours to get to it. Catholic school. I suspect the principal was under a lot of stress and was taking that out on us, but that's not certain. What is certain is that I learned a lesson; not the lesson the school intended, but a lifelong lesson.
