Happy Blowvember, everyone! Yet another rightwing "pro family" leader has resigned after an extramarital affair; this time around, it's Douglas Phillips, former president of "Vision Forum Ministries." In a seriously icky resignation statement, Phillips writes
I looked on their web site. The lesbian/abortion promotions are too subtle for my old eyes.
Exploring values, practicing responses in different situations, and thinking about their futures, help girls identify ways and reasons to avoid early pregnancy and prevent sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.

Just one last indication of how very rightwing this Doug Phillips guy is: He once complained that Sarah Palin was too “pro-evolution, pro-contraceptive,” (???????) and “pro-homosexual” for true conservatives to support . . .
Word on the street is she made Glen Rice use a rubber, which was a hard sell in those days.
it almost certainly would never happened if American women weren’t such sluts who insist on being out in public, competing with men, instead of at home where they belong.
My in-laws were very active in the Optimist Club, which is to say, that father-in-law was an Optimist, and mother-in-law was an Optimrs. There were no women in the "real" club. So then the club decided to join the 20th century and let women be real members. I still remember them railing against this, with FiL saying that this would lead to affairs between married people, because if you have women dressing up in fancy clothes and going out to dinner meetings with men who are not their husbands, the sexing will inevitably ensue. My husband pointed out that I, his wife, was roaming the hotel halls, drink in hand, with men I was not married to, late at night, at teacher conferences, and he wasn't worried. Not sure what they made of that.

Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!
My quiver's only got one arrow, but it's full all right, if you know what I mean.
My penis. I mean I have a large penis.
Who knew that dolls were so slutty and corrupting!
It does shine a new light on this old John Cleese photo-comic, however. " rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.dograt.com/gallery/nggallery/image/pag...">http://www.dograt.com/galle...
Actually, it was known as 'The Newt Defense' before long Willie's Willie showed up on the scene.
we'll have none of that
There has been serious sin in my life for which God has graciously brought me to repentance
Holy passive tense, Batman
I'm not sure it's possible to take less responsibility for your actions while supposedly apologizing
And these are Quiverfull Christians; they're already pretty darn crazy.
I'm following in your lady-hating-hating footsteps as soon as I'm done at work
The only way "Sarah Palin could be too “pro-evolution" would be if she suddenly grew a complete set of chromosomes.

I guess that explains the new Abortion Abby doll in the American Girl catalog.
"I did not have sex with that Beautiful Girlhood doll. It was merely inappropriate, romantic and affectionate."
And creepy. Let's not forget creepy.
I didn't even know that Christian uber-conservatives had heterosexual affairs anymore.
I know, right?
And no meth?
