Failing a reasonable escape route, I ask them, “what is woke?” They usually pause, fumble, fidget, fart, then blarp something bigoted.
I go with "don't start none, won't be none"If they feel free to spout their jibberish, I will shoot it down without fear, since they were the ones who brought it.If they fall back on "you are making this political" (and they will) I will point out /that they started it and if they did not want push back, they probably should not start it in the future
Her just freezing up would have more weight, Mr. Chait, if /she did not do the rest of the interview just fine and even before she answered the question point out that she had a bad answer to it.That is not freezing up.
