Well, I'm firmly in the Anybody But Trump camp. I just hope the Democrats nominate someone good. However, even a Republican will do if he's not Trump. We've more or less survived Republicans. However, with Trump we're skirting the edge.

I don't think there is a contract length. I could be wrong.

Yes but this makes me want to have Warren not waste time on anything but financials, I want her to be the financial manager of the country Treasury and consumer protection agency and education? selfish me.

I don’t understand why there hasn’t been a religion started that just straight up worships money. Sure, there are many that do so surreptitiously, and have fantastic stories and even churches. But true to form capitalist church of money USA has not ever been done, that I’m aware of. You’d think they’d have figured out they’d get tax breaks.

My favorite quote from the show: "I'll watch from the helicopter while Jim lassos the bear's front legs."

They were trying to capture and relocate a grizzly bear (IIRC). It ended with Jim hanging from a tree branch with the bear jumping up and swiping at him.

I was you. Am not now, and once smugly thought that folks who didn’t redeem themselves deserved to drown. Lately, not so much...yeah, getting in way over your head is a choice, but lenders could still thrive on chumps like you @ 15% interest, and I wouldn’t have to pick up the tab.

Lady MS, in her 20s (in the 70s) was the poster child of lenders’ bliss. Ran up more than I could afford, and faced max interest paying minimum monthly balance. Live and learn. Taking this opportunity to say that, nearing 70, have mastered the fine art of fiscal responsibility, making more of less and owing no one aside from the monthly/annual utilities, taxes & schtick. To save the young ones from falling into the quagmire which awaits them, (D) candidates - starting with Warren - should propose common core financial literacy curriculum from K-12. It would piss off DeVos, force OHJB to confront credit card vultures and set the next gen off in the right direction.

Because the mega-churches already worship Mammon?

Yes, I believe that is his profession.

I try not to either. But it's been a long couple of decades and I've been off my meds this week.

I'm so shocked, could've knocked me over with a feather.
