I am the Queen of thrift. Everything I wear with the exception of undies and one pair of ankle boots comes from thrift stores. Too many women are addicted to shopping so the amount of good stuff given to thrift stores is huge. It is my way of not contributing to the exploitation of global labor.

They don't have to expand business or create jobs. They can buy yachts from non-Americans that put zero money back into the economy. They get these tax breaks by shipping jobs overseas and cutting healthcare to their workers.
While nurses saw full-time jobs split into two part-time jobs that don't offer healthcare, and nurses imported from the Philippines to work for lower pay than qualified US residents, hospital execs were paying themselves huge fucking bonuses and (probably) partying on (someone like) Donald Trump's foreign-made yacht. When your Trump-loving friends complain about AOC's $580 dress, show them that AOC has more in common with them than Donald Trump's kids, who grew up cavorting on daddy's thirty million dollar yacht. Ask them what's more outrageous and unfair, a brown-skinned girl pushing for families to be able to take their kids to the doctor wearing a nice dress, or Eric and Ivanka Trump sunning themselves on the deck of the Trump Princess while middle-class families were struggling to make ends meet.
