Ah... um... now... this bit is actually (almost sort of) true

"As everyone who’s read the Constitution knows, the power to accuse and try people for treason is reserved not for the courts, but for random wackos on the internet."

The thing is the US operates on Common Law, which you inherited from us as a colony (Common, as opposed to civil, law is one of the ways you can track the British Empire. The others being Cricket* and English. This is why activist judges can make laws up whenever they want**

Under Common Law ANYONE can arrest a law breaker - often referred to as 'Citizens arrest'. The ONLY power the police have is to arrest on suspicion (of breaking the law, not being black and successful).

So as long as these people have definitely and obviously broken the law, he can arrest them.

Yeah, he's a fuck wit (not because of arresting traitors, but he only holds an opinion they are a traitor, it isn't a definite fact.)

*Former Possessions/Countries not playing cricket are officially Not As Clever As An Australian.***

** I know that this isn't true, but try explaining precedent to a redneck/GOP candidate/Kentucky Clerk.

*** This IS an insult.
