That was the war of my gen, friends & family. Hope you got thru it w/o slaughtering civilians (marksmanship was not the only class in basic) and, if not, hope you don’t share our belief in Karma. Never bought that schtick as a war crime excuse, since every GI is taught how to kill, but was likely taught morality before reaching draft age, and ‘rules of war’ as part of their training.
His elections were the first I was old enough to be aware of. 12 the first time and 16 the second. I had very liberal parents and lived in the Bible Belt and I followed politics a decent amount in high school (for a high schooler) as a small aspect of my rebellion against society (I'm a nerd). I can't say I hold much respect for the title of president, knowing someone with his levels of intelligence, curiosity, and willpower could be elected. Although I certainly respect the individuals who have held the position who deserve it. People have put on their rose-colored glasses about him and I don't get it at all. At best he was a rubber stamp.
Our friends and enemies alike in the Middle East are getting the message from Trump that they aren't quite human unless they share their oil with us. And what a great way to perpetuate the cycle of violence, almost as though that is the plan.
Given that the Iraqi government told us to leave and State said, "Thanks but no thanks" the Empire quotient is pretty high right now. I have to imagine that some of those Nineteenth Century British prime ministers are looking up from their graves and saying, "Bloody hell old boy, I think you need to ease up on the imperialism a bit, there."
Correction: the message from the tRump administration is, they aren't quite human, because Not White. AND they will be 'sharing' their oil with us. Like it or not.
These clowns can and will be shunned by those who live by the rules.Don't ever forget that Trump is fucking scum bone spurs Draft Dodging COWARD.
The pardons, of course, mean these psychopaths would pass a federal background check to own and tote their weapons of choice among us...

Is Trump assembling his own personal army ?
Signs point to yes.
Everyone who's ever worn a uniform should be infuriated by this.

Burning a body is known in legal terms as "desecrating human remains." And yes, it's a crime.

A new Praetorian Guard, his own personal, pre-pardoned neck-stabbers.

Maybe he’s trying to find new friends for Eric and Junior?

The new sheriff in town is with the outlaws.
This is sick-making.
Kinda like the end of "Fargo," where the former gangster gets a new job in front of a computer terminal, working as a corporate drone.
