The deranged terrorist daughter has a deranged, violent, mother who supports terrorism.

Pretty much what one would expect.

This is speculation, but I do suspect that one reason Ashli Babbitt died was because of the way her mother raised her. Like mother, like daughter.

I went through school with a someone teasible name, but at least I wasn't named "Ashli," spelled in a demented fashion, added to the last name "Babbitt." Names shouldn't matter, but in school they are a favorite tool of bullies. They also add to the first impression that people get when introduced to a stranger. Again, it shouldn't matter, but it does. Note that the Repubs did to "Barack Obama" what the mean kids do in school.

Oh, come on. This kind of thing happens to half the kids in grade school. All the way through third and fourth grades I got, "What's the beef, Stu?" Funny once, maybe, but kids like Blair and Ricky never figured out that it wasn't funny a hundred times. But it wasn't really bullying; it was just 9- and 10-year olds figuring out what is witty.

Excuse me, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, they always emphasise the fuck out of his middle name, and snigger about it among themselves. Who says wingnuts have no senses of humor? That one grade school witticism no doubt came from some mute inglorious Goober, even the God-Emperor of the Trolls regularly pops that out like an owl regurgitating mouse bones.

I insisted at the time and have maintained ever since that the Capital should have been defended with machine guns and hand grenades. There wouldn't have been any broken windows or reactionary jerk offs vandalizing the Congressional offices and smearing forced on the walls. With any luck that clown doing shaman cosplay might have caught a bullet and ceased to trouble. Give the seditious assholes something to REALLY cry about. Or at least they should have been armed like the cops who attacked peaceful BLM protesters. Let the Nazis have a taste of teargas and rubber bullets at the very least, since they're fine with "law enforcement" so-called using those weapons and tactics to suppress people who simply wanted to suggest that the cops ought to be reined in a trifle and kill rather fewer persons of color who are obviously no threat to the big, burly and armed police.

Having clearly been fed a diet of right wing bullshit and grievance like her traitor daughter, she’s already decided what happened and who the enemy is. Nothing else will dissuade her. She is now playing the role of righteously grieving mother and her daughter is a blameless Christian martyr. Confirmation bias is a hell of a drug.

This dipstick should be behind bars and charged with threatening the former (and soon, present) Speaker of the House, a current sitting member of the US House of Reps.

Threatening the government officials of the United States is a felony under federal law.

Isn't that always the wingnuts' argument excusing a pig who shoots someone who was running for his life, he should have trusted the system and allowed them to arrest him. Never mind that arrest is all too often tantamount to a death sentence ( Baltimore has been notorious for taking people away in paddy wagons that might as well have had Zyclon B coming out the vents.)

Why the fuck is she out on bail?

Two problems with cash bail:

1. letting out violent harmful dangerous people

2. keeping in harmless people

On this particular week in September, I just want to state that 1/6 is way more devasting to me than 9/11.

9/11 is kinda like 12/7/41 - we were attacked.

1/6 belongs in a category with the Civil War.

We were fighting with ourselves and that's so much worse.

Ashli Babbitt is a traitor and un-American and her mom's just as bad or somehow possibly worse.

And so are all the angry crackers who believe she was only doing what's right and the Capital police ought to have just ushered the inflamed assholes in, instead of defending Congress. After all, the rioters had been assured that they were just righting a great wrong, the national election had been rigged and stolen to deny their Savior uninterrupted rule. He said so Himself.

I shudder in horror when I think about this. What if they had gotten to Pelosi? She's small and elderly, and they (or even one reasonably strong guy) could have easily overtaken and killed her in a number of ways. It makes me sick that this bitch can make these threats (yes, they are threats) and escape any consequences.

I guess we know where her daughter learned to be an ignorant, fascistic POS, then. I'd guess her Mom is one of those people who says "Well, they should have complied/ shouldn't have broken the law" whenever unarmed Black and Indigenous people (complying or not) get killed by cops.

Yep, when I see this person's irrational, confrontational, belligerent attitude, I assume that's where her daughter learned the same. Maybe she's so out there because she knows she's partially to blame for her daughter's death.

This woman feels zero blame, I can promise you that. She is among the sadly large percentage of the population who cannot understand that their actions have consequences, and thus always have a scapegoat. For ease of future reference, we can call that percentage of the population "Republicans".

Being belligerent is very popular on the right. Just look at the gun nuts saying "come and take it"about their precious guns. Because their backs are always against the wall because of the evil gummint trying to take away their freedoms. I wish they would grow into responsible adults, but I know that ain't happening.
