I can't say. I'm from Texas. I've never seen a sane legislature down here. Those of us with brains know that Molly Ivins was right: Our lege was the best free show in Texas. As long as you ignored that those clowns were making policy.
Every now and then we get lucky and somehow a Barbara Jordan gets elected, when the KKK types aren't looking, but that doesn't happen too often.
