Or doesn't taste rubber cementy enough because the orange marmalade & anchovy marinade hides the flavor.

I think it shows America's exceptionalism when we allow tax-free cults to turn children into complete idiots and then permit them to vote and hold public office.

And sadly, too many students today WANT to be fed the facts so that they can regurgitate them. i just finished a unit on Macbeth with University-destination grade 11's; in a class discussion on Macbeth, only 3 (three) of 27 could identify "ambition" as the defining characteristic of Macbeth- because I hadn't told them that yet. Because they couldn't figure it out from what he said and did. Ye Gods.

Ah. This explains why both my sons want to join the armed forces.

I am sorry to say that the "regurgitate a line from the thing you read" mindset is alive and well in textbook-affliated test banks today, in college even. I guess that confers an advantage to these kids.

Except when it is something bad, then the answer is:

"Obama did it." Alternative acceptable answers: "Hitler" and "Satan"

I forget what number covers "Freedom of Ignorance" in the Bill of Rights.
