Sounds like one of the reasons. But good gosh, he's just one dude and he really is innocent! Hell, if Pence played his cards right and did the right thing from the get-go, it could have been the beginning of a REAL outreach for their party. The “respect for the judicial process” excuse just makes me want to vomit. The process F'ed up! That's why an innocent man is in prison. To hell with that process!
The bottom line..........Pence is a self righteous hypocrite of an asshole. Pence isn't fit to run for local dog catcher. Follow Pence's voting history while serving in Congress, and his record while serving as govenor. If ANY woman in his state has an abortion or a miscarriage he has made it a law, that the woman has to have a funeral for the fetus.

It is a legal system, not justice. Justice seldom shows up in a courtroom.
