We rescued and rescued and hired lawyers and on one day had a judge simultaneously grant a deferred adjudication on one charge while arraigning him on another, because the second thing just happened to not violate the deferred adjudication agreement on the first thing. That went on until he ended up in prison for a year, which seems to have turned his life around, so maybe that was for the best. Do what you need to do to keep yourself sane, but know that there is a great deal of this process that is not yours to control. Your son has placed himself in the system, and the process will continue until he and the system he has given himself over to agree that they are done with one another.
