I know it's a pretend holiday, but I LOVE Valentine's Day (or, as a dumb former coworker called it, "Valen-times", like, the time of valens.)
I like pink and red and flowers, though I don't like candy. I told my husband that if we were going to be together there would need to be a fuss for birthday and Valentine's.
He's never failed with that. Tonight he's making shrimp Creole and I expect there will be a card and flowers. His shrimp Creole is really wonderful.
It's dreary and gross here, and I'd like to just take a nap.
