Then maybe you can explain it to me. I can believe they were Trump supporters all along attempting disruption but I can't believe that they supported Bernie and his ideas but could also support Trump and whatever it is that goes on in his head. Mostly young people I believe. Maybe I'm insulated but all of the young people I'm surrounded by daily are highly intelligent and heavily invested in their convictions.

This is the exception that proves the rule.

But you're not realizing the essential pissiness, self-entitlement, spoiled, want-it-right-now immature mindset that some (definitely no all) Berniebros have. It seems to be more about them getting what they want over any kind of actual political beliefs. And if you balk them, they say, "Fine! I'll just play with Donnie over there. He'll give me what I want!" (Maybe I should have included delusional in my description....) There seems to be a lot of foot-stomping and hissy fitting going on...

So how is voting for Trump going to get them what they want if he is the polar opposite of Bernie? Or do they not really want anything? I still don't see these people intentionally voting for Trump because they think it will be good. I do see them staying home on election day. Or maybe people are even dumber than I thought? Not likely.

Republicans will never be happy running the legislature. Maybe we could reassign them to monitor all the public restrooms where they like to hang out anyway.

Because we're a part of the economy as much as autoworkers or teachers or business people but no one ever talks about our very vital part in the economy. Just a passing mention, like the good reverend mentioning non-believers. But just acknowledgement that someone sees our role.

Right, because who needs artists, and why should poor kids get to have art or music or theater in school. Why should we train artists so that there's someone to fucking TEACH this stuff in the schools. Who needs artists so that there can be a freaking line up of Broadway stars singing about love at the freaking convention This is what I'm talking about. I'm sorry, art is just as important as reading and writing and science and math, and it is privilege speaking that assumes that "these people" don't have time for frills like art. Imagine if you said that about white suburbanites.

Ok now I'm hyperventilating.

Art isn't just "awesome." That's dismissive. Art is central. Art is what makes us human. Art turns STEM into STEAM and makes the engine run.

The Jeff Bezos of his era? Did not know that. I thought Land's End only went south after Sears bought them out. Turns out they started that way. Go Figure. Please tell me Duluth Trading Co. isn't that awful, or I won't know where to get my hubby comfy underwear.
