I've been woke to the fact that Baltimore has 'issues' the last few years. Having never been above Georgia on the east coast, I've relied on assumptions but now I'm getting the real skinny. Yeah, if I still lived in Chicago and had to chose, I'd probably have gone with Corporate Lawyer Hack. Either way, Chicago gets it's first black female mayor. I don't think she's going to be met with the same BS as Harold Washington did.
Because if we're going to have a corrupt mayor -- and we probably are -- she might as well be competent. And Mayor Dixon did know how to get shit done.
